The Expressionist Michael Wolff.  I’m a brand new fan.  This creative advisor and designer has inspired and motivated me.

Juicy with color. Filled with vivacity, his joy is unabashed, yet deliberate.  His gratitude for his perceptions and awareness do not go unrecognized.  He ~Lives~ life (yes, with a capital “L”)!

He uses the term “muscles of seeing,” and wow, how he flexes!!

I discovered him while looking for a Kickstarter project for my Finance and the Arts class at Purchase college (I HIGHLY recommend taking it with instructor Linda Solomon).  I had encountered an awesome product design project called The Present (very successful),  by Scott Thrift of “M ss ng P eces,”  (http://mssngpeces.com) “a team of strategists and artists who provide creative and production services to likeminded brands and agencies.”  The Present is a beautiful, unique, yearly clock that helps increase one’s awareness of “being in the moment.”

While on the their website, I happened across this short inspiring film where I was enlightened to the effervescence and joy of Michael Wolff, co-founder of Wolff Olins Agency and “considered one of the preeminent visionaries and perhaps the father of 20th century brand expression and identity (youtube).”

I couldn’t sleep if I didn’t share it with you.

Please open up, you can never have too much inspiration!

Which of our living contemporaries, that you don’t hear about everyday, gets your creative wheels turning?
