A collaboration between Campus Technology Services, the Fine Arts Department and the Neuberger Museum curator, the new endeavor that has become the Passage Gallery lends a unique purpose to what was once considered a “fallow spot.”
Currently there are over 14 artists displayed in an amazing array of renditions and iterations of what may be considered “expanded documentaries.” This exhibition was created to run alongside the conference held on October 14. The technology used to display each concept range from an old rabbit-eared tube TV to touch-screen monitors and electronic tablets.
Visit the Passage Gallery website for links to current artists and projects. Expanding the Documentary runs until November 6.
The Passage Gallery at SUNY Purchase College — tucked away underneath the large underpass, directly across from the Performing Arts Center. Currently showcasing student work in new media and digital documentary, the themed show is only lasting a couple more weeks! You might want to document your trek over, SUNY students!
